In an effort to extend our care for the environment beyond our borders, we collaborate with New York State Department of Transportation in the Adopt-a-Highway Program. Greystone's staff and volunteers clear up all litter along a 21 1/2 mile stretch of Bear Lake Road. This endeavor is conducted 4 times a year. The amount and type of litter is recorded and registered with our local highway superintendent. We trust that this effort is keeping our country road free of litter.
