HARVESTING FROM GARDENS
An important element in all of our experiential environmental education classes is using the sense of taste. When ever possible, we encourage students to harvest and eat from our organic gardens.
CHICKEN FLOCK
Visitors are most likely greeted by our chicken flock. We make the chickens a part of our stewardship mission by showing aspects of their care. A spacious, clean coop and ability to free range are two of these.
THE BEVERLY AND JOHN RUSKA BLUE BIRD TRAIL
In the gardens and along the woods line are 22 nesting boxes especially designed to attract blue birds. Checking out these boxes can be vary rewarding experience.
